http://www.flickr.com/photos/chomski69/ j'ai commencé a utiliser les telemetriques avec plusieurs zorki 4 et mir ce sont de bon boitier mais finalement je l'ai ai vendus pour acheter un fed 1 que j'ai vendu egalement maintenant j'ai adopté un zorki 6 tres agreable tres compact utilsé avec un jupiter 3 de1957 et un JUpiter 12 et egalement un KIEV 4 de 1975 avec un jupiter 12 et 8 un regal ce telemetre le zorki 6 est en reparation actuellement en complement un leica iiic de 1949 et summar ainsi qu'un elmar 9 cm je les utilise avec autant de plair pour chacun sans distinction de marque

polabe ~ very nice Zorki.4; and the meter looks right at home there. What kind of meter is it?

chomski ~ sounds like you've got a good group of RFs. Barnacks and Zorkis go together well for me. (But Kievs have always been that itch I haven't scratched ... yet.)

The lens hood came from a flea market and has, as you can probably see, a piece of sticky tape on it to ensure a perfect fit.

Hi,

I've no idea and can only say that I've used it on the Leica CL (which had film in it a month or so ago). The problem is I'm recovering the use of my right hand after an operation and a lot of things I'd like to do are a bit beyond me at present. Luckily I can type as badly with my left hand...

It was working well when I took pictures at 1 metre range at f/4.5 and so on. There's a thread about it somewhere but here's a photo taken with it on the CL;

FP4 Plus, btw, and scanned etc by Ilford but resized very much downwards by me.

This indeed is prewar and not standardized. I have one too and it is spot on with the FED-S body but miles off on any other body, not to mention Leica!

My kit also consists of a 100/6.3 and a 28/4.5, both uncoupled. I'm short one pre-war front and one rear cap, and ofcourse those finders for both lenses :bang: impossible to find!
 
The problem is that with any other camera we could easily take the back off and use a piece of frosted glass to check things. And thanks to the sprung back plate we can't even check the flange front to film distance on our cameras.

Multiply the number of lenses by the number of bodies and I get an impossible number of combinations to test. Doing 6 standard shots for each lens I'd be able to check 6 lenses per film but the thought frightens me. And life's too short.

As for standards and non standards, I seem to have been very lucky with mine. It's not much of a bother, I seldom shoot at f/2 (about 3% of last years shots) and so don't worry much because I can pick a modern camera for serious work.
