I finally had to replace mine about a year ago, and these are an absolutely perfect replacement. You can't tell the difference.

*Ok pre-war is possibly easier to repair but precision is more difficult to achieve.

I got it 16-17 years ago for £300 and worked well for a decade or so and has been sitting on a shelf since.
