Hi, Rolleistef. I got the Mooly-C Blackpaint from a famous leica shop in Vienna.
I love it so much..

Leicaism,
really nice one! I have to stop drooling now... I never knew GAS until I bought my Leica IIIf. Days and night of hunting strange animals such as the tiny SCNOO, the gigant MOOLY or the slender VOOLA.

Earlier this year I bought a Tower Type 3 (2nd version) from RFF member dexdog and recently won a Nicca 3-S... I'm eagerly awaiting the Nicca, but wanted to share this new picture of my Tower... If I remember right I got the Serenar 50/1.9 from RFF member Makinaw & the J-12 from flashover. So basically I'd have none of this cool stuff if it wasn't for RFF!!!

How do you like that Serenar? I have the regular Canon 50/1.8 but I've been curious to try one of the collapsibles (Provided I won't destroy the baffles on the P).

Amazing for the price! I think it is a great alternative to other f/2 collapsibles... Wish I had some shots scanned to show you. From what I can see on the Canon Camera Museum site it was the standard lens on all Canon models from about 1949 to 1951. There should be plenty of these around, so I'm sure someone here might be able to post some examples & confirm whether there is any trouble mounting it on the P. I can't imagine there would be.
One small thing that I'd think about is that the lens only stops down to f/11... Makes things a little more difficult for me because I'm just learning to guess exposure using 'sunny 16'. Close focusing is also quoted as 1.07m, but I've never had an issue because I rarely shoot that close.

Hi Maurice,
Very pretty IIIf and a nice set of lenses. According to the number, yours is a true IIIf ST. Mine is a modified IIf. I love that finder. I'm wanting that one and a 35 mm finder, but they are incredibly expensive. You could almost buy a good user Leica RF for that price.

Thanks Jack, I just bid on a nice SBOOI on ePay. My max was $100. I over bid in the last 10 sec and was scooped. The viewer went for US$103. Maybe next time...

O.K. I'll show you some. Here are 4 of my 7 Leicas. A Leica I(A) from 1930, a IIIb from 1939 sporting a later 5cm Elmar, a IIIf RD from 1953 with a 1945 9cm Elmar, and finally a IIIf RD ST from 1955 with a 1934 5cm Summar on it. I won't bore you with all of the attachments, M-gear, other lenses, and so forth. My lovely wife puts up with my addiction.
