Show Us Your Greatest Composition

Always had a soft spot for this one

This one is rather simple and possibly boring for some, but I have not yet mastered more complex compositions. So more simple I keep it, the better the results.

I love this thread and am learning quite a bit about composition. My compositions tend to look a bit symmetrical I guess. I liked the way the moon, Venus and the shimmering moonlight were drawn to you in this shot.

I've never studied photographic composition before so this may be incorrect, but I loved the many colors I saw in this sunset shot. I wanted the image to move from dark up to bright orange. Placing the sun in the right third of the image was more pleasing than straight in the middle which would be my natural tendency. 🙂

One of my favourite street photos is of people simply passing this fellow on the street. Just a bunch of anonymous feet and legs going by.

Has anyone counted the number of really good photographs presented here where optical qualities (lp/mm, light falloff, corner sharpness, etc.) of the taking lens matters not? Focus isn't even a pre-requisite.
