Some "candids" while attending a rehearsal of my pals band. As i'm clearly not comfortable with that kind of shots, any C&C is appreciated.
I'm concerned about distractions (door knobs etc...)

Even a lousy scan at 2000dpi results i 60MP+ 250MB scans. Tough work for the poor old Mac Mini.

The best camera is one that still works!
This pic is probably my most convincing experience with my recently aquired Widelux. It's damned quirky ... the viewfinder is partially blocked on the right by the turret and generally it's like staring into a goldfish bowl!
It's also producing a very minor amount of banding which I can currently live with ... it may improve with more use, if not it may go the US for a CLA at Precision.

I eventually replaced my Widelux F7 with a Horizon 202 because the mechanism was more robust. The widelux is very prone, well both are by some standards, to banding.
I also now have a Noblex 135, but its finicky rubber drive wheel has developed the characteristic flattening and fails to start properly now.
I never used the Widelux viewfinder because it didn't represent the scene accurately. I simply composed with the field-of-vew lines on top of the camera.
I thoroughly enjoy the swing-lens view, but am now playing with a self-modified GSW690 to run 35mm film. I know "Sacrilege!"

A test shot through my semi-permanently modified Fuji GSW690 to run 35mm film.

Some more pics from the Widelux ... I'm absolutely hooked on this camera and all desires to get an X-Pan have evaporated!
I also discovered some info on line that describes how to strip and clean the shutter and swing mechanism ... not at all complex by the looks of it and appears to very robust. I also replaced the light seals as they had totally gone which amazingly has improved the feel of the camera by stoping the back from creaking and rattling.
And ... I have yet to photograph my fingers!
