Before you make your mind up try the 60mm Macro Elmarit, I use one as on my SL MOT. Do you still use your motor?

Yes thanks! I don't really need any more gear, but price wasn't bad, it's been 3 cam'd so I can use it on any R camera, and just the thought of this early version on this particular camera sounded perfect!

The only old black paint Leicas I ever owned where a couple Leicaflex SL (one a Mot). I even had consecutive numbered black paint Leicaflex SL in the house for one weekend. But I always thought the original Leicaflex were the coolest looking (and smoothest too). Have fun with it.

Both versions of the 50 Summicron R are great performers. As are both versions of the 90 Elmarit. A couple years ago I got rid of the "version one" lenses, keeping only those that took the "universal" 55mm filter. I know, silly.
