KW Reflex Box. Perhaps the simplest SLR ever made.
![]()
The Pilot 6 is rather simpler.
I have a Reflex Box that needs a new mirror, but unfortunately it seems to be missing whatever piece held the mirror in place. I don't know if you'd be willing to remove the ground glass on yours and get a picture of whatever fixes the mirror in place, but it would help me.
Either than or I have to wait for an absolutely crap one to show up on eBay, and buy it to find out.

If I can figure out how to do it without breaking anything, I will. I have a friend who has done this, I will see if he has photos. The Pilot 6 is rather simpler.

I have a Pilot Super, this camera seems simpler than that. I have no Pilot 6 for reference.

My friend informs me that the mirror is glued into place. He will take pics when he is done with the roll currently in camera.

Another ebay find, in my first staff job these were the supplied cameras Eos 1 and 3 always seem to get all the interest but the 5 is one of my favourites.

Is that a Nikkor F TICK mark ?
Pan, yes, that's a 10.5cm tick mark.
Lots of elegant SLRs on this page. For some reason the Exa with the WLF always looks impressive.

The 5 is a stunning camera. Bought it new back in the late 90's and still hasn't missed a single shot!

Not a big fan of metered Fs when I used them in the past -- too big, too bulky -- but I have come to appreciate those with an eye-level prism. It handles like a different camera.
