I do miss my MX - developed a faulty mirror. In black it looks so gorgeous.

Greyscale, You have definitely made the podium for producer of extraordinary quality of SLR photo porn in this thread.
Pan, you're most certainly the runner up with that photo of your Olympus. Ad quality!

This model does not have the instant return mirror, that feature was added a couple of years later.Saw this beauty on Flickr. I know it has FP shutter, but does it have a self return mirror?

Thank you. I use the door from the old kitchen cupboard (the one that suddenly collapsed and made a mess in the kitchen) as a background.

A new to me Makiflex Auto arrived today from Prague. This one came with the Voigtlander Heliar 210mm F4.5 in Makiflex Auto iris. I've been watching this camera for years, decided to pull the trigger. So now I have three Auto Makiflexes and a Makiflex Standard. I really wanted the Heliar Auto lens............... I'll clean it up as I have time and it will go into rotation with my other cameras.
This one has over 26,000 actuations and has been customized a bit. Quite interesting

Thankyou. I would love a black one to go with it. The 50mm f1.4 renders beautifully too.

...I don't know enough about them to tell which model that one is, but there's good info on the web:
http://camera-wiki.org/wiki/Edixa_Reflex
http://www.pentax-slr.com/181841700
http://thecamerasite.lauro.fi/01_SLR_Cameras/Pages/edixa.htm
That is the original model A, basically a rename of the first Edixa SLR, the Komet. The B models had the auto diaphragm mechanism.
I almost prefer the non-return mirror, as there is never a doubt if you have wound on or not.

Cameras. I has it.
I have had this camera from new.
...
Very nice. I assume that is a period-correct strap? I try to have period-correct straps for my cameras, but I don't have that particular Nikon strap. It looks nice as well.

The strap is period correct, but not a true Nikon one. It says for NIKON. Looks good though.

That's an impressive lens Mike, do you have any sample pictures taken with it?
