Hello Kent! The pix are NOT boring--please keep them coming!
The Spotmatic brings back some good memories. That was my first "real" camera--I bought it used in 1968. Still have lots of slides I took with that camera and its 50/1.4 Super Takumar---a great combo!
Thanks again and post some more!!
Paul
OK, sure. If anybody complains, I blame it on you, Paul.
😉 😀
My main combo ATM: EOS 40D & Sigma 18-125 OS, ever so versatile!
My first choice for available light DSLR-shooting: EOS 40D & Sigma EX 1.8/24 ... don't believe those crappy test results, this is a fantastic lens! Perfect for a crop DSLR!
Two old set-ups:
Fuji S2 Pro with Tamron MF 28-200 (left) and Tamron AF 28-300 (right), both lenses are sold. The Fuji now is used by my dad, it's his first DSLR and he loves it!
Asahi Spotmatic w/ Takumar 2.8/105 (left)...
... and a Praktica Super TL w/ Soligor 3.5/35 (sold).
EOS 40D with a really fast Vivitar 2.0/24. I have sold the lens some time ago.
Fuji S1 Pro with Sigma 2.8/50 Macro. This cam has been sold and the lens now lives on my dad's Fuji S2 Pro - what a fantastic lens!
Canon EOS 650 w/ Tamron SP 60-300.
The cam is broken, suffers from the typical "tared shutter" effect of the 6xx series, but lens still lives on (might be replaced by an EF 75-300 IS soon...)
And a very "special" one:
Canon EF/M with a ...
Minolta MC Rokkor-PF 1.7/50.
This is one of the Rokkors that cannot really be changed to EOS-mount, so I disassembled the aperture ring and blu-tacked the lens to a sandpapered EOS-adapter. It works, but you have to set the aperture before mounting the lens.
