The Rolleiflex SLR cameras are notorious for breaking down. Basically, you can count in it to occur. Spare parts are getting hard to find. I have five SL35 cameras; three of them are for spare parts. The other two have been repaired.

Sold all my Nikon DSLR gear last month, including all lenses. Only a Blacked-out Chinon Memotron CE-II remained, with a Super Reflecta 55mm f1.4 lens, an Auto Chinon 28mm f2.8 wide and a Typonar 135mm f3.5 tele.

This is meant to be used when it all gets too rough for the Leicas, when I'm out camping with the scouts.

The Memotron CE-II is built like a brick, it has AE priority, exposure compensation, double exposure, AE-lock and open-aperture metering with ALL M42 auto-lenses, regardless of brand. Best SLR of the seventies, can be had nowadays for under USD 50 in very nice condition. Lenses set me back ten bucks a piece.

I will put a new leather skirt on the old girl shortly, this one has shrunk over time. Thick black Leica quality paint and nice brassing, I love it.

nice collection indeed. I recently acquired F, F2A and F3hp. Very different animals. I never thought the f2a would be this HEAVY. The design is very interesting. I love the DW-1 with the F. I am going to try out street shooting with the setup soon.

I have had a bad experience with a 2000F. It looked like new, but it would not work. So it was sent to Germany for repair. It took them 6 months to find a new board for the camera [cost: $350]. The "special low" price was in return for no warranty given. The board failed again six months later. Now I have a pretty paper weight 2000F to look at once in a while. I have the 35/1.4, 50/1.4, 85/1.4.

Amedeo can convert the 50/1.4 to M mount for $75.

from what I see most of you should work for the marketing division of some brand.. I find some pictures really much more appealing than those often showed over the brochures.

The Spotmatic brings back some good memories. That was my first "real" camera--I bought it used in 1968. Still have lots of slides I took with that camera and its 50/1.4 Super Takumar---a great combo!

Fuji S1 Pro with Sigma 2.8/50 Macro. This cam has been sold and the lens now lives on my dad's Fuji S2 Pro - what a fantastic lens!

Canon EOS 650 w/ Tamron SP 60-300.
The cam is broken, suffers from the typical "tared shutter" effect of the 6xx series, but lens still lives on (might be replaced by an EF 75-300 IS soon...)

Minolta MC Rokkor-PF 1.7/50.
This is one of the Rokkors that cannot really be changed to EOS-mount, so I disassembled the aperture ring and blu-tacked the lens to a sandpapered EOS-adapter. It works, but you have to set the aperture before mounting the lens. ;)
