Thanks. I have abused this camera to the point where I almost feel sorry for it. It has fallen down a flight of marble stairs, been left out in a hurricane (actual), covered in snow and frozen in ice, and used in the rain 20+ times without even attempting to cover it.

How is the lens working out for you? I've heard some bad comments on it previously but I think it'd look good on my FM3a so I want to give it a try. But if it's that bad then I'll just have to find another chrome lens for it.

I like them so much I have two. It's a pseudo tessar like feel to the images, which I really like. Build quality is superb.
Most, but not all, criticism I've seen is from people who have not used the lens but that are shocked/annoyed by the price. Personally, I love the lens and use it on both Analogue and Digital bodies.

I'll never forget the first time I saw one in real life.
About 10 years ago... There it was on the top shelf of the local pro camera shop.
My jaw must have been on the floor.
Absolutely the most handsome SLR ever IMO.
Still my dream 35mm SLR! The first time I heard about those funny Leica cameras, I went on their site and that was the first camera that appeared. Now, I love my M2, but I would still be relatively happy with a R8 or R9...

Oh and here are mine - down to just three (including my digital):
The Nikon was a gift
I'm probably going to sell my Leica in a few months, and use this guy until I get out of college and can afford a Leica again.

Just drilled out a quick and dirty lens board for my 5x7 Auto Graflex, and spent yesterday morning cleaning up what was left of the leather, as well as the ground glass and mirror. Haven't been able to find any film holders yet though
