Thanks, what gets to me is how similar it is to the so-called Leica clones. Here's another to show it's a bottom loader.

Somewhat over exposed to show the innards. And I love that little tab to stop it falling over.

don't wory. There's half a dozen others tae use with it .
Haven't tried out the xi yet (nor used one before). It's feels clumsy and slow (to me) but plenty folk on the various sites like it.

No, Ah meant the xi lens. Had a loan of the XE for a month and that made me decide tae buy one. Superb engineering (like all Minolta cameras), of which I have 5.

The foam on the prism is prone to deterirate it at one stage. It's easy to remove the top cover and just remove that foam before it's too late.
