Found a Contax 139 Quartz with 2.8/45 in good condition. Feels like a tank compared to the OM-2n.

2 questions, how come your om2n has blue speeds? And how do they compare? I'm on the hunt for an slr and loved my om2n years ago but have never had a contax slr.

Greyscale, I hope that you have enjoyed your Spotmatic and the 55/2 Super Takumar as much as I did my SP1000 with exactly the same lens. A fantastic lens for Kodachrome II and the later 25, and especially for black and white film, where, for me, it gave great sharpness and superb tonality, especially on HP4 and the early Tri-X. A gentle contrast, not too much but enough.

I also loved the 28/3.5 Super Takumar lens, which I used as my main lens at that time (1971). I had previously used a Praktica with a 50/2.8 Tessar, and this served me very well.

Here is one of mine, a 67 Nikon F with 55mm Micro and a gold Sekonic meter.
