It is always nice to see an equipment/gear that has been well used.
I've only had both my RFs for about 6 months and I can't wait to use them over and over again and have them age gracefully in my hands.

So, show us your well used camera/lens that you've had SINCE NEW and how long you've been using them.

Well, there's visibly well-used, and simply well-used:

hexduo.jpg

4/5 of my Main Axe system for the last eight years. (90mm f/2.8 M-Hex hiding in bag)

Bought new in early 2002. After several hundred rolls of film, the telltale signs of use/wear are there, but you have to look close. Bright metal on the on/off collar surrounding the shutter release, some hairline scratches here and there. No dings/dents (the goodness of titanium!), et cetera, but the things don't look new. That black epoxy paint, however, is way tougher than lacquer, and doesn't quite uglify the way black chrome seems to.

And, they're still the best cameras I've ever owned and used.

Barrett, those nice vented lens hoods you've got there -- where did you get them?

The lens on the right, is that a 50mm? I have a no-name vented hood for my 50 but I don't like it because it fits in such a way to the lens that one of the 'wings' (I don't know what to call it; I'm not a native speaker) blocks a corner of the viewfinder (of my Bessa R3a). If your hood fits better I want one of those! 🙂

It might not look it - but this one is well used, since I bought it new in the seventies, and apart from one small ding and some brassing on the ends, it's ageing a heck of a lot better than it's owner! 🙂

My dad bought this camera sometime in the 80s and passed it onto me about 4 years ago. The leather is coming off a bit and it has some scuffs, but it's not too banged up yet.

I'm doing this from a BlackBerry, so bear with me here.
😉

The lens on the Hex on the left is an M-Hexanon 28mm f/2.8, and came with the hood you see on it. The lens on the other Hex is a 50 f/2 M-Hex; while the 50 has. a nice built-in hood, it's not as good at protecting the lens from physical harm as it is in cutting flare, so I bought this screw-in hood from Heavystar on eBay a few years back. His supply of particular hoods seems to be a bit sporadic, but hoods like this tend to reappear after a while.
