Shutter Issues R2A

Anyone out there in RFF have issues with the shutter getting stuck in the open position on their R2As??

Not so far. I've had mine since October last year.

Is yours new? I had this problem twice when I first got my R2a, but it never happened again.

ditto what kully said w/ an R3A. i had it happen w/ two separate cameras actually, but never had problems after that first time.

I get double exposures once in a while. I think I trip the rewind button when I'm winding sometimes. Hopefully my new Luigi case that's in the mail will help solve that problem.

Its only happend to me twice while shooting in cold weather say 15degrees with new batteries, nothing sub zero.

There is the generic warning that with slow shutter speeds to make sure the shutter is closed before winding on. I thought that was specifically mentioned in the R2a manual but I'm not finding it. I may have read it on Stephen's site.
Maybe that was your problem, Gong?

I think that is probably issue because I have had not no other problems with this camera until this incident occured. It happened while shotting at like 1/30 1/15 second sutter speeds, I was also shooting as fast as i could(one after another)
