Hello everyone,
I just recieved a Kiev 4a and while testing it the shutter button jammed around the 5-6th frame. The shutter speed was set at 125th and now will not change, nor will it fire. Is there a quick fix to this or should i send it back? I got it from Fedka.
Thank you, Ben

Just an up date, I un screwed the dial, and it turns out that only the button jammed. So I took the button out and it works perfictly now. I loaded a roll of film in and will be testing it out tomorrow.

You may already know this. It is meant to lock for time exposure, if you depress the button and turn it with your finger it will lock on, to unlock press and rotate.
Sorry if you alraedy are familiar with this but in the early days it caught me.
