My original DP2M got caught in a rainstorm and stopped working.
The one I use now was very kindly gifted to me by Robert Hill Long for which I`m forever thankful .Thank you again Robert .

such Beautiful rich color palatte and character the Merrills ...miss mine

but the Results are Sublime !

External viewfinder, does the job most of the time. As mentioned,
as long as you are more than 2 meters away from the photographed
object, there should be no problem. Close-range photography
- for example, a portrait of head and shoulders - requires special
and careful attention to the parallax lines, that appear on the external viewfinder.
What's more, Sigma's SPP image processing software, is worth
the price, especially when you want to make the most of what
the Foveon X3 sensor Merrill is capable of.

Michael, just noticed all this above. You’re forever welcome, too.

Now I have posted the last of the 3 DP2 Merrill images I originally put up in the RFF gallery. Ave atque vale, Sigma color! The other 2 were oh, a bit subtler in hues and saturation.... In any case, my Foveon use remains virtually all BW.

Now there's a desirable gear photo! Some serious good taste.
