So I was cleaning up my living room. film strips, sleeves, empty film boxes all over the place.

I was also packing my Timbuk2 for a quick ride. Picked up M9 and MP, and then a roll of film and SD/battery...

Wait, can I do this???

YES! It was a perfect fit! Two Leica batteries and an SD card (probably can put a few more) go right into 35mm film package. Neatly sealed with Scotch double sided tape.

I just have to be careful not to take the "Digital Roll" when I'm only grabbing my film M for the day. :p I put a "D" with sharpie on the digital roll pack.

OK that was silly. I'm out...

Sug , You are Crazy  :D !
though I would have expected YOU to Design a PURRfect box and pkge it ...;)

I use film canisters to store SD cards. I have one for empties and another one for full cards in my bag. Thanks for the idea for batteries, I don't think it's silly when it clearly works and costs you no money. I usually put a sticky marker on a loaded battery, and you may lose that when the batteries are bouncing freely in the bag (although I don't think it ever happened to me).

I use a film canister to store my XPAN bubble level. Excellent fit and is protected against getting scratched. :)

For some reason this makes me sad.
It is *film* that needs promoting and rescuing, not digital.

Silly feeling this way, I know...
