Canon New F-1, EF and A-1. For 645, an Arax 645, for 120 a Rollei 28F 12/24 and a Mamiya G.
Lately, it's been almost all RF, with Canon P, 7s, and Leica M3 and IIIf RDST..... but mostly Canon glass.

Interesting thread.

Thanks.... it took me a while to work out that combination. I figure only on RFF would people know to appreciate it.

Heh, I wouldn't be so sure... I was reading this thread earlier tonight and I read your sig to my wife and our 4 year old got scared she was sick because she was laughing so hard... 😀 I simply do wish I had thought of it first: it's the perfect thing to put on the backside of your biz card... <LOL>

I only had one camera before I ran afoul of this group 🙂 It's an OM-2000. My OM-1 is now the family camera. I don't use either of them much. They are good for portraits with a medium zoom. Due to corruption, I have so many rangefinders I must constantly rotate amongst them to exercise them all...

Last month I finished my homemade digital R: a canon 10D body that I fitted out with a fotodiox R adapter, haoda split screen, and a 28 Elmarit R.

I'm using a Nikon FM2T but the discontinued FM3A would be a better choice except for the mirror. A mirror-less SLR would be the perfect companion for the perfect rangefinder. Unfortunately, neither exist. 😎

PS: the Cosina/Voigtlander Bessa R2A and R3A come awfully close though. 😉

Hello:

I use a Nikon F with a Micro-Nikkor and a 180 f2.8 most often. Then there is the Exa with a Tessar.

'Never had one but Leitz's first SLR was conceived as a rf shooter's.

Not mirror-less, but Canon did make the Pellix and also a 1 series SLR with a _fixed_ mirror. No mirror flap.

The fixed partially silvered mirror Canon Pellix eliminated mirror blackout.

When not using RF's, its:

(1) Bessaflex with old Zeiss glass lifted from a non-working Zeiss Icarex; or,
(2) FM3a.

The Bessaflex, as we know, is made by the same Cosina folks who make the R3A, etc. Same basic body size, feel, etc. and same shutter (with same familiar "clunk"). It's has very easy-to-use stop-down metering and just is so nice for back-to-basics SLR photography. Amateur Photographer did a review of the Bessaflex just a few months ago and they actually liked it despite its ancient specifications.
Enough has been said about how nice it is to use the FM3a.
