Just used the whole VF for framing. It's a great lens, not the best flare rejection, but when not shooting in the sun, it's an excellent lens that I'm really glad to have (I have the ltm version with VF, but use the VF with my CV 15 on M8. Low distortion, and great contrast for color and b/w.

Grrr... wish I didn't wear glasses at times... so when I buy this lens I will have to get a ext VF. 🙁 Glad to see it works well with the M8 though... the colors look right and no real abnormalities. 🙂

yeah

yeah

If you can't see the 24 lines easily (and ideally around them), you'll pretty much need an external VF (~15 ish for an M8).

If you don't already have a 15, the CV 15 ltm with finder is a great lens/vf deal.
