Only joking, I adore her. Still, she is hopeless as a hunter and possibly not even all that serious about it. If she sees a bird in the garden from inside the house she goes nuts and wants me to let her out. But it's all show. If she goes out she hides under a bush till the bird leaves of its own accord. In 7 years she has caught exactly two birds (one survived) and a mouse. The dead bird, I suspect, died of old age or a heart attack when she made a rush at it. Not a good batting average for a cat. If hunting were a cat sport she would be cut from the cat team. I am of course pleased with this as there is no actual "need" to hunt except to exercise her cat's instincts.
