It’s not really a belly rub - my cats loved that, too - it’s a sort of scrubbing, maybe tickling, I think the cats enjoyed grasping my arm and kicking my hand with their hind feet.

With all these supply chain shortages, Sneaky has to ensure vital food stocks are being maintained by the hoomans.
Just chilling out on the cat tree. Sneaky likes to lay up there and watch over his human servants.

Its been hard. I bought more food for him on Sunday, and I had to visit a Kroger, a Walmart, and a Meijer store to piece together a decent amount of the flavors of canned food that Sneaky likes. All three stores were out of nearly every flavor, only having two or three flavors in stock. Its been this way for a couple months now. I've been feeding him more meat than usual lately because, interestingly, it is easier to find fresh chicken and beef than it is to find cat food.

Chris, a cat gets needed nutrients by consuming the whole animal that s/he killed (muscle, bone, organs, etc). A diet consisting only of muscle meat will result in starvation. A diet consisting largely of muscle meat could result in gradual malnutrition, also.
I was provided this information by a wildlife sanctuary, who provided the example of a lynx who came to the sanctuary suffering from extreme malnutrition, hardly able to stand up, because she had been fed only muscle meat such as that consumed by humans.

I know. Cat food is designed to include the other nutrients they need. I have had to give him more meat than usual lately because of cat food being, at times impossible to obtain. He refuses to eat his kills, so this is the only option I have.

Normal for a domestic cat. Domestic cats won’t eat their kills unless the kills are their only source of food, which is unlikely - certainly in the case of the well-fed Sneaky.
Usually their kills are a product of [select all that apply]:

* Presenting you with a gift
* Teaching you how to hunt
As a gesture of appreciation, you might want to visit a taxidermist with those kills to have them preserved and mounted for Sneaky’s viewing pleasure.

I think they just enjoy murder. They don't just kill, they torture and torment the poor things for a long time before killing them.
Sneaky never eats any of his kills, except bugs and spiders. He eats those! He especially likes moths and big insects like grasshoppers and katydids. My grandpa had a cat who used to eat the chipmunks and bunnies she killed, but she would not eat mice, moles, or snakes (though she killed large numbers of them all).

Sneaky was demanding food last night when he was briefly distracted by the sound of a bug buzzing around the ceiling light!
Sneaky: "SLAVE! Where's my food?"
Me: You just ate an hour ago. You can wait.
I fed him about an hour later because he had been pressuring me so relentlessly.
Do I see a SKY RAISIN buzzing around the ceiling light? This was only a brief distraction before he got back to the important business of demanding food.
