I have a hard Zeiss case for my Contax lla but find it cumbersome and do not use it. For many years I have used a Benser soft case for my Leica and find it perfect, for travelling, bottom of my briefcase, back of the car etc. So I had the idea to look for another similar case for the Contax and found this:

It is for the Yashica GSN and GT cameras, leather with a cord lining, is beautifully made (better than the Benser) and fits almost perfectly - $20 from an eBay member with plastic wrist strap. It will also accommodate a Leica M and my Contax llla. It lacks the strap exit slits of the Benser otherwise it is it's equal in convenience.

I thought I would share this.

I just wouldn't fit anything vintage with nice chrome trims in a custom-fit pouch closing with a zipper...

Ha ha, yes I know what you mean.
Highway61, Look away now, I also bought nice new straps and black anodised lens hoods.
In mitigation, you'll be pleased to learn I won't be painting the cameras black or covering them in the skin of an exotic mammal.

I do use generic black tilted-vented hoods and plain black woven nylon straps on my Contax stuff, all modern and Chinese. But I won't scratch the camera chrome covers on purpose.
