Hey all - I've heard about the Softreleases, but wondering why people like them? Does it make the shutter softer? More responsive? I shoot w/ a Canon P.

It seems that there are quite a few who would be interested in another bulk order. If somewone would like to take the lead for another project, I would strongly encourage him/her. Tom and Tuulikki are very pleasant to deal with.

Hey all - I've heard about the Softreleases, but wondering why people like them? Does it make the shutter softer?

It gives me a larger surface to press on; a better feel for the shutter release travel. I can put more even pressure to fire the shutter exactly when I want. It sounds like a small thing, but I really enjoy the difference. This is my first time using soft-releases and I'm sold!

IMHO, the quality of Abrahamsson's work on these is excellent.

5 cameras/4 softies here. The one I didn't bother getting one for is a Zorki one with a very, very soft shutter release with very, very short travel; a "hair-trigger' as I call it. I've fired a shot with it accidently several times just feeling for the button.
