If I can choose "only one" between a soft release or thumbs up for my x100, which one is best in term of impact on picture? (my skill excluded
)
And if it is soft release, which one? I have small hand. How about Mr.Philip Tay's?
Thanks

At least go for the soft release, it's much much more cheaper than the over priced Thumbs up.
I'm indeed using a soft release on my own Fuji X100, and it does help especially at low shutter speeds in terms of stability, I have no regrets at all for having paid 20 dollars for it...

Thank you so much for your answer. I had already ordered an soft release. Also think that Thumbs up may be too expensive.

I'll vote for the Thumbs Up - undoubtedly pricey for what you get, but it makes holding the camera much more comfortable. (nb: I wear XL gloves for the most part, so it may be different for folks with smaller hands)
I also got one of the Really Right Stuff bases with the grip. It works okay, but requires that I completely change the way I hold a camera to be comfortable - two fingers on the grip, middle on top of it, index finger on the shutter release. Three on the grip, index on shutter requires me to bend my index finger back in a strange way.

i tried one of my soft releases on the x100 and it didn't feel right, it felt like the shutter button sensibility was wrong (too sensitive) for the half-press.

i just changed my mini soft release for the larger (rff) soft release and much prefer the bigger one.
