๐ Sure had me for a moment.
Yesterday afternoon I and two other guys were at a friend's place. Now this guy is fond of music and has a huge collection (around 40GB of mp3s). In the middle of a piece it suddenly dawned on me that April 1 was a few hours away, so why not... ๐
I told him point blank that I had the particular piece that was playing in my collection too, and it was playing ``slower'' than usual on his laptop (which by the way is a really old machine). Then I pretended to make some observations with my watch for 3 min and declared that his computer clock was losing 15 sec in 3 min. This was completely flabbergasting to say the least, but everybody else joined in (probably understood the date), conducted their own experiments, and reported conflicting time differences. A while later we apparently agreed that the computer clock was actually losing around 12 sec in 3 min. My friend was totally freaked out ๐ฑ, particularly when he was told that he would have to listen to every piece in his collection once again at normal speed to properly appreciate them ๐. A while later somebody pointed out that the clock on his microwave oven was losing time as well, so perhaps he was overcooking everything ๐...
Just in case somebody is wondering what is this `story' doing here in RF gen. discussion, let me just mention that I had my Fed3 + Jupiter 8 with me all the while ๐
