John, you have inspired me!
I've had a SQ Ai sitting about for about 4 years and have never used it!
Thanks to you it's now getting a fresh set of batteries and is waiting to be put back into service again!!!
Great news. Looking forward to seeing some pics. Glad you liked the images. You won't be disappointed.

There are some fine pictures in this thread, but how can anybody question whether a Bronica SQ is loved or not!
I once had a Hasselblad, because I thought I should have a Hasselblad (for work). And it never got used, I hated it. For me a Rolleiflex was my square camera of choice. But I saw a Bronica going cheap when everybody was running away from film bcause there wouldn't be any, and it was love at first exposure. It's just great to use, the lenses are fantastic, and they are comparatively cheap!
Very cheap compared to other 6x6's and great fun. Love to see some pics.
Cheers - John

The Bronica is so easy to focus even my partner nailed it
Me and my Mamiya 7. I was swapping between the two with the Mamiya doing 35mm pano's.

great shots nice to see the Bronica`s in use, have the predecessor ECTL,ETR and ETRSI, the ECTL is especially well made, easy to use.

I actually have a basic ETRSi kit (body, lens, metered prism, two backs) that I'd love to trade for an SQ-A kit, since for my 645 purposes I've gone to a Mamiya 645 Pro.

Had an SQ-B + 40mm/80mm and 150mm PS lenses. Stunning lit. Wish I still had it. That said, I now have Hassy 500c/m + 50mm/80mm and 150mm lenses and hard to tell difference in ouutput. The hassy has the better build quality IMO>
