Mostly Olympus Micro 4/3 gear. Its small and light and easy for me to carry. I have an OM-D E-M1 mark II and a Pen-F (the digital Pen-F) and a bunch of lenses. 90% of the time, I use the 12-40mm f2.8 Olympus Pro lens. I have a 7-14mm f2.8 Olympus Pro, a 45mm f1.8 Olympus (great portrait lens), a 60mm f2.8 Olympus Macro, and a 45-150mm f4-5.6 Panasonic lens (extremely sharp, despite its low cost).

I don't usually carry the 45mm or the 60mm macro, as neither is useful for my documentary work. I bought the 60mm to do commercial work with years ago. I use it for photographing artwork for local artists mostly, and for making my watch repair videos. I use the 45-150 mostly for landscape work.

I have a Leica M4-2 and some lenses for it I am thinking of selling. I can't afford to shoot film anymore and don't feel well enough to do my processing anymore. I also have a couple of Leica IIIf bodies and several LTM lenses that I will keep in case I start shooting film again. I always lked them better than the M-mount cameras. My small hands fit them better. That's all the gear I have anymore; over the years I had to sell of everything else I owned when I was putting my son through college after having a stroke and other health issues back then.

I don't get out of Indiana much anymore. I don't have much income anymore, so I can't afford to go far anymore. My son bought me a tank of gas so I could go on the trip I took on the 13th, when I visited North Manchester, Akron, and Rochester. Rochester, the furthest of the towns I went to, is a little over an hour drive from Fort Wayne. I was sick almost all of 2024 and did very little photography that year, even close to home. I'm finally getting to where I feel up to going out and carrying a camera again. Sounds like Galena would be a place I would like, though. Is that where you live?

That's an interesting set of stairs. I saw stuff like that in Louisville, Kentucky 20 yrs ago. Had a friend there who lived in an old neighborhood full of gigantic houses that had all been subdivided into apartments. Many of them has elaborate wooden stairs and walkways like this to allow access to upstairs apartments. I like the photo a lot!

Day Hardware is an old locally owned hardware store on Rochester Street (State Road 14) in the small town of Akron, Indiana.

I just went outside to get my mail, and just as I was about to stick my finger in the finger-loop on my mailbox's door, I saw LEGS. I looked closer and saw a big hairy spider hanging under there! I opened the door by pulling on the door itself and the spider dropped out on a string of silk; and as soon as I closed the door, he scurried back up!

I've decided that tomorrow morning I'm going to relocate it to one of my bushes. I'm afraid the mailman will stick his finger in there and squish Spidey accidentally, or will get bitten, or will see the spider and kill it.
