Chris, I really like your photos. I wish I had some of the great subjects you are finding in your area.

This is Township Road 152, just east of State Route 49, in rural Paulding County, Ohio. The muddy dirt road has to be the worst road that I have ever seen in the midwestern United States! The sign says "Road Closed When Wet," and you can see why!
I photographed it on a rainy, foggy morning in February.
I don't think I've ever seen that sign before! I can see why it's needed there. Great atmospherics.
Chris, I tend to come and go from RFF so it can be months between check ins, but your Fort Wayne thread is always a pleasure to catch up on.
Great to come back and browse your thread, Chris. I notice that as of today it's had 2,671 posts and 387,152 views - that speaks volumes about the quality and consistency of your work. Thanks for the moving feast of images, and keep them coming!
Your sense of composition is tremendous. Lots of foreground.......have you ever considered shooting stereo? A $50 Stereo Realist will Reeeealy open your eyes and give you another plane of expression.
I enjoy seeing your photos Chris. Last Winter I drove through the MidWest to deliver a car, the last time I drove through was 1984. This time I could appreciate the beauty, history and sense of loss.
^ Look at the windows on the second floor, they’re great!. Does anyone even build houses like this anymore?
Also, this image, Chris, like all your others is outstanding.
All the best,
Mike
