Some new photos from Fort Wayne

The Beast is a giant inflatable dragon with a maze inside that kids could walk through. I photographed it in July at the 2015 Three Rivers Festival at Headwaters Park in Fort Wayne, Indiana.​

The teen sitting in the monster's mouth was one of the carnival's workers. He doesn't look happy, but I wouldn't be either if I was being swallowed by that thing!​

This little boy in a tiger mask was waiting with his father and younger brother for a funnel cake at the 2015 Three Rivers Festival at Headwaters Park in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The festival was in July.

This is the back yard of an old brick farmhouse on the north side of US-24, next to I-469, on the eastern edge of New Haven, Indiana. The building with the American flag on it is the garage. The barn in the background is the one with the ladder that I posted photos of a few days ago.

Summer festivals in Indiana are known for their food. The vendors often travel far with their food trailer to set up shop at festivals all over the midwest, so it is rare for one to be a locally-owned business.​

This one at the 2015 Three Rivers Festival in Fort Wayne sells sandwiches made of sirloin steak and Italian sausage.​

The Three Rivers Festival takes place every summer in July at Headwaters Park in downtown Fort Wayne, Indiana. I go every year and photograph people at the festival.​

This is the enormous 80 foot wide American flag that flies over Glenbrook Dodge, a car dealer on Coliseum Boulevard on the north side of Fort Wayne, Indiana. Seen from east, it was lit from behind by the afternoon sun. I photographed it from the parking lot of the McDonald's restaurant next door.
 
I am always impressed by the visual consistence of your pictures Chris. And you have the capacity to make normal things become special. Great!

This is the Aunt Millie's Bread outlet store on Hillegas Road in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The sign on top of the store is a small replica of the famous Sunbeam Bread sign on the company's factory in downtown Fort Wayne, which I photographed last month.

This train was sitting on the railroad tracks that run parallel to Dawkins Road, just west of Sampson Road, in Allen County, Indiana. Most of the trains that pass through our area are pulled by Norfolk Southern locomotives.​

There had been rain off and on all day, but it stopped briefly in the evening. I took advantage of the lull in the rain to do some photographs in the rural areas east of New Haven, Indiana.​

I found this Chevrolet pickup truck in the parking lot of a grocery store in the small town of Churubusco, Indiana. I've seen a lot of pickups in 2015 that have full size American flags flying from the back of them.

Laundry Center is a laundromat on Main Street (US-33) in the small town of Churubusco, Indiana. This woman was sitting outside talking on her cellphone and drinking coffee late at night. I photographed it Thursday evening.
