Another photo from inside the abandoned log cabin on US-33 just south of the small town of Benton, Indiana.
The bumper sticker on the side of the refrigerator says; "I Pledge Allegiance To The Lamb." Another bumper sticker on the wall above the back door says; "Christ Believed, Salvation Received."

This is the front of the abandoned log cabin that is filled with religious signs and photos of classic cars. It is one of three tiny log cabins that sit together on US-33 in Elkhart County, Indiana.
A sign above the windows on the front of the house says; "Bunk House."

Close crop showing the Bunk House sign.

This is the door on the third of three tiny abandoned log cabins that sit next to each other on the north side of US-33, just south of the small town of Benton, in rural Elkhart County, Indiana.
The bumper sticker on the window says: "Live For Jesus Now & Spend Eternity in the Non-Smoking Section."
The door and inside walls of one of the other cabins are covered in religious signs and bumper stickers, but the sticker on the door is the only one on the cabin in this photograph.

This is the back room inside the third of three tiny abandoned log cabins that sit next to each other on the north side of US-33, just south of the small town of Benton, in rural Elkhart County, Indiana.
It is the same house whose front door has a bumper sticker that promises that if you live for Jesus, you can "Spend Eternity in the Non-Smoking Section."

Here is another photograph of the abandoned log houses outside the small town of Benton, Indiana. The house was filled with religious signs, including this ceramic cross.
The ceramic cross says; "Bless This House." The small tool, hanging from the door frame in its original packaging, is a spoke nipple wrench. Its a tool used to adjust the tension on the wire spokes on bicycle wheels.

Another photograph inside one of the little abandoned log cabins on US-33 in rural Elkhart County, Indiana.
An old, filthy Khaki hat hangs on the wall in front of a cross. Next to it is a faded ad for Eric Miller, a Republican politician who ran for governor years ago. Between the hat and the political ad is a printout of the "Jesus Illusion." If you stare at the dots in the middle of the face on the paper, it looks like the face of Christ appears.

This is one of several old semi trailers and cargo containers sitting next to Boyd Machine, a business on US-33, just north of the small town of Wolf Lake, Indiana.
The political statement stenciled on the side of the trailer says:
"Save U.S.A. From Socialism. Elect Romney. Socialist Oboma Must Go."I find it amusing that they misspelled President Obama's name! Romney is former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney, who ran unsuccessfully against Obama in the 2012 presidential election.

Wonderful imagery!
Thanks, Creenus. Here's something new, which I shot last Wednesday morning:

This is the entrance to Sparta United Church of Christ on US-33 in the small town of Kimmell, Indiana. The original name of Kimmell was Sparta, which is why this church bears the name.
The neon sign over the door says: "Jesus Never Fails."
I photographed it in the very early morning.

This little storage shed sits behind a house on US-33, just south of State Road 9, in the small town of Merriam, Indiana.
The handmade folk art flag above the door is a thirteen star American flag painted on a piece of old wooden fence.

These smiling dumpsters are at a recycling center in the small town of Ligonier, Indiana. These are for flattened cardboard boxes. There were other bins for plastics and glass, newspapers, and aluminum cans. All of them had happy faces painted on them.

Colored glass windows form a giant blue cross on the east end of Benton Mennonite Church. The church is on the corner of Jackson Street and Corland Street in the small town of Benton, in Elkhart County, Indiana.

Indiana Mexican Bakery is one of several Hispanic businesses on Wells Street in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Panaderia is Spanish for Bakery.
The building was a Harley-Davidson motorcycle dealership when I was younger.
I photographed it Friday morning. I've wanted to do so for a couple of years, but the place is popular and always has cars parked in front of it on the street. I finally happened by when there was no one there.

This old house is on US-33 in the small town of Merriam, Indiana. The front porch was decorated with several American flags and patriotic signs. There were also a large number of birdhouses on the porch!
Merriam is a tiny unincorporated town at the intersection of US-33 and State Road 9 in Noble County, Indiana.
