I got the XA4 with the idea to have a wide lens to complement my fixed 40mm RF cameras, when on the streets. I was quiet suprised when I got back my first roll from the lab. I pretty much used the camera in a quick and dirty point&shoot style. Film was Superia 100, scans from the 1 hour lab. These pictures are not really special but well, I like this little machine and the lens on it a lot...

...and two more. BTW the XA4 is scale focus and has no RF like the XA. But the XA4 is the only camera of the XA-series that has the 28mm lens.

How much do XA4s normally run for? There is only one on ebay right now, NIB with an opening bid north of $80. 😱 Is this just a high-priced fluke?

Expect to pay $100 and up for a working/clean one. If you got one for less, count your blessings.

ISO, nice shots, the wide angle makes it a breeze for point'n'shooting style.

$100 is a fair deal for a nice one - they are not that easy to find. I got one here (Trius - a good man!) that was mint and paid about that.

It really is a sweet camera, the wider lens is nice to have. Still not really used to the zone focus yet...
