I've been really digging the micro 4/3s... was fun rekindling the fire recently with the GF1.

Last one what a perfect happen stance match between smoker and the ad of someone needing what appears to be medical help.

My father in law passed away from lung disease due to smoking. I know it is hard to quit.

Thanks - really enjoying the GF1 (always have really) & am considering the EP3. Had a chance to play with it - the OLY - for a short time and it's much more snappy than it's predecessors (which was the reason I went the panny route).

I really like what you have done with the contrast. On my monitor, at least, it looks like Earnest Haas contrast crossed with Robert Frank subject matter. That first pic is classic.

I do Joe. There are days though that I want a mini-computer doing some things for me like AF, matrix metering... I think that iA mode of Panny's is pretty darn good. I particularly like the 90 degree EVF which is why I'm considering the the EP3 + viewfinder....

i know...just giving ya the gears...

i love the x100 for much the same reasons...auto everything and great image quality.

Thanks Benjamin.

Re: contrast.... I love it! I enjoy images w/ deep, dark blacks. I often underexpose by 1-2 stops and lift the detail off the mids & highs... it's become a standard workflow of mine.

Yep I like the Panasonics better than the X100 depending on the lens used.

What lens did you use for these shots?

The GF1 rocks!
I took this with the 20mm Panasonic with the aI setting, too. Image was not manipulated just a little crop.
