I have been wanting a toy camera for a while, but just haven't gotten around to buying one. I came across the Debonair in the Film Photography Project's online store one day and thought "why not?" For $20, it's supposedly a good mix between a Diana and Holga.

Here are some samples I took with it on Portra 400.

For a cheap little camera with a plastic lens, the images are sharper than I thought they'd be. There's a light leak, but I'm not too worried about it since it's part of the aesthetic! If I want to get semi-serious, I'm guessing I could tape up the bottom with some gaffer's tape.

I'm happy with it. It's definitely worth the $20 I paid for it, but some people have said online that they can be had for cheaper. It's going to be a fun addition to my little collection and I'm looking forward to shooting some black and white through it for some moody stuff.
