Somebody actually doing photography...

After watching the video, I hereby nominate him for a Darwin Award. Didn't his mom tell him not to play around on railroad tracks?

I shoot a roll or two a week, and I avoid the Internet except RFF. I'm happy, but I don't like raw fish, and think he is using a Canon DSLR which puts him in the follower (but maybe successful) class.

These are kind of cool, but not my cup of tea. I definitely prefer photography that has a more realistic feel; these images are with a couple exceptions a little too surreal for me.

I would stress though, that my tastes are just that, my tastes. If others love those pictures I will think neither more nor less of their artistic sense.

I can't fault a man who has a project that he believes in and has obviously completed. Looks like some cool shots there. Thanks for posting.

😕 this is tongue in cheek, right?

Anyway, I really like these. They almost feel like real live, some of these you can imagine seeing in real live. There is one photograph on his site with a dancer jumping inside a shoe shop and a woman looking like: what's happening? Great. Thnx for sharing.

I like it...found his website and looked at a bunch of his stuff...

Interesting idea...very nice photos...thanks for sharing...

Very passionate project and fully in line with his Artist statement:
"BE passionate joyful euphoric intense angry present ALIVE"

I clicked through the entire series of shots and might buy actually buy his book, especially as I know a lot of locations where he shot.
Really cool, thanks for sharing !

I think it's a real study of dance thru still photo's which is great, I going to have
to check his book out, the frozen aspect of it looks interesting.

Here is a similar one that I like the photos even better. In this case, a Cuban ballet dancer bought a camera and learned photography just so he could photograph his fellow dancers.

I find the dancers from the Cuban National Ballet doing their moves in unusual places around Havana to be absolutely spectacular photos.
