Source for 100ft cans for Eastman 5222?

I've been calling all over California looking for empty 100ft cans to break up 400ft rolls of Double-X. I just bought 1200' and want to get it into smaller rolls.

Film Source and PhotoChem in LA both told me they never have 100ft cans anymore. When people bring them in, they want them back.

So does anyone know of a source? Should I try Kodak?

I bought a couple of rolls of real Tri-X and spooled it all up. Then I had two Kodak cans, and also the plastic inner cores, that the 100' roll is loaded on. I've been told you don't need the inner core, but I don't want to take a chance scratching the XX film.

I alternate between XX and XXX myself.

I find it easier to just take off a 100ft at a time straight into the bulkloader.

Just a note on the margin - anyone knows about a source of 100ft (or so) (re)cans OF Eastman 5222?
