Nikon Bob said:I did not mean for you to buy it but thought you might like to see what one looked like. Sorry if you misunderstood. I have one of those spot meter attachments and rarely use it. I also have an old Soligor spot meter that is very large, similar to a small blow dryer, that works very well but is a pain in the backside to carry.

Bob: Zone VI made a holster for spotmeters such as the Soligor and Pentax. Attached to a belt, you would be mistaken for a plainclothes officer who was carrying. On the elevator of the building where I maintained a studio one day, packing my Soligor in the Zone VI holster, a fellow tenant (a dentist) spied it and said,
"Is that a gun? You don't scare me."
This was a weirdo guy who, at one point, had nearly killed someone by misapplying nitrous oxide. Previous to that, he had tried to extract one of my teeth without taking an x-ray first because he was out of developer. I ended up going to an oral surgeon, who found the roots were all twisted together and the dentist would have had to extract the entire jaw to get that tooth.
On the elevator, he didn't recognize me as it was many years later, but then I'm not sure his memory was any good anyway.
I just smiled. Luckily he soon retired before he killed someone.
