Greetings from Estonia.
So this is me, Joosep, stepping into the world of RF.
Been doing this since I was a kid. For the past 4 years strictly film SLR cameras. And for the past 2 years M42 film cameras. Last year I got my Bessaflex and Ive been loving it since. This summer I was on a trip and I was carrying my Bessaflex with 58mm 1.4, 85mm 1.5, 35mm 2.0, 16mm 2.8 AND my Rolleicord TLR. And let me tell you, I got tired and really frustrated.
So about week after the trip, I had a dream, that I sold everything and bought an RF system. I woke up, threw a thing things on sale (not my Bessaflex ofcourse) and 2 months later, here I am.

So 4 days ago I received my R3M with the 50mm 1.1 Nokton from Stephen.
Id like to thank Stephen here. Everything was superb !
The first day I shot 2 rolls. And the next day another one. I work in a photostore (im a math student), so I got them developed and scanned asap.
Let me tell you, my expectations were high, but this BLEW ME AWAY.
So ... everything you are about to see, is shot with 1.1 onto very cheap 400 film. Enough chitchat. Picture time !

These are really great! That portrait on the street at night is simply stunning! I wouldn't have guessed it was any old 400 speed film.

Its actually a 2€ film called Paradies, I got a bunch of em from Germany.
I almost finished one and gonna have 1 off day later this week, so gonna click thru it soon.
Gonna get my hand on some Reala soon (my favourite film).
So you will see more from me !

Welcome to this forum and... kudo for your shots and new equipment. I like both!

Great stuff and an awesome kit. How is the balance of the Rf and a somewhat large lens?

It isnt a problem.
As my Bessaflex is as light as my Bessa, but the registry distance is longer, so the center of weight is further away from the camera.
So its alot better on the Bessa ! Very easy to grip and hold it.

Really nice pics. The storefront, night time portrait is my favorite. Keep up the good work and welcome to RFF.

Very nice pictures ! I like 2nd the most ! I have a nokton 50 1.1 as well but it hardly gets used due to its size.

Welcome to the forum. Nice photos and great camera. It should be interesting to work in a photo shop...
