Sticker to cover the trademark

No, but I painstakingly removed it with a needle and a pair of nail scissors. It became too time-consuming in the long run, so nowadays, when someone gives me clothing with a brand name on it, I prefer to just dump it in the local salvation army bin.

Silly? Perhaps. But I prefer to show off with my own merits, rather than by surrounding myself with fancy brands. In fact, as a group, I find people who tote these brands so obnoxious that my doing so, even innocently, would automatically make me guilty by association.

Joe,

There was a company that was making polo shirts with a pink pig logo on them in response to the alligators.

Come to think of it, the little pink pig would be a nice way to cover over the "red dot".

Come on guys, if you wanna change the color of the engraved lettering use the stuff that's made for it. Lacquer Stik, a paint stick. Works like a charm, rub in, wipe off excess, ready.

Great for restoring the faded white lettering on lens barrels too.

In the May-June issue of LensWork, P.89, Bill Jay says, tongue in cheek, "...here's my advice on how to be mistaken for a serious street photographer as opposed to an amateur rube tourist:

1. Use an all-black camera. Stick black gaffer-tape over any white areas, such as the manufacturer's name..."

And he has six more suggestions as well...
