The Voigtlander Vito and BL models have what I term a silly little 'rivet', instead of a proper strap lug with a hole. I love these cameras and have had a few - usually with a never-ready case. The BL in a picture that I just posted on the bag thread, has no case, and I would like to put a strap on it - but how?. I tried a thin leather strap with the usual hole punched in and slit, but it's not very safe, so is there some kind of patent fastener to lock on the 'rivet' head?

You could consider the 'speed strap' approach, utilizing the tripod socket as a mount. I have a picture of this on a Barnack style Rooski, but I can't seem to attach it. PM me with an e-mail if you like, and I'll send it that way.

I used to use one of Gordy Coate's string-attachment wrist straps on my Vito B. Once you pull it tight on to the peg, the waxed string binds tightly and won't work loose. He also makes shoulder straps with string attachments at both ends.
