New York Street Photography in Jamaica, Queens?

Our flight was cancelled so we have another day in NYC. We're switching hotels to be closer to JFK. Any safe places to shoot in Jamaica (we'll be staying on 153rd, about 1.5 miles from JFK.

Don't know that area well but i don't think its particularly bad in day time. Take the F or E trains and get off jackson heights. Much better photography there.
