Strike two for XP2 film....

Hi! I haven´t read all this through, so this may be of little use. Still; I was very disappointed when I first started scanning my negs - and especially XP2 and Ilfords high speed film (don´t remember the name). Somone here and a tech at the lab I use suggested I scan my negs as positives, 16 bit, and "turn them" in Photoshop befor doing any adjustments. It was sound advice, I found. At the time I used an LS 5000 ED, later a 9000 and now an LS 4000 ED (a bumby career?). I´ve quit worrying.
