I recently bought a Vitomatic II that has a stripped screw hole on the body pictured here. I tried other screws from the body but they don't work - the threads on the hole are stripped.
The top wobbles a bit. Any possibility of light leak in this situation?
Is there any way to fix this? I googled some solutions but couldn't come up with any answers.
I also think there might be the bottom half a broken screw in there...the hole seems pretty shallow.
Is it totally F'd?

I would try a larger sized screw if you have any. And if that doesn’t work then drilling/cutting new threads using a tap for a slightly bigger screw.

Eye glass screws may be worth a try.

I'm pretty sure that that screw goes into a lug sticking out of the top side of the body casting, so no risk of a light leak. In fact I can confirm that - I'm missing the exact same screw on mine, and have never seen a leak.
