hm,that's pretty grainy and muddy for 400 iso film...what happened?
or is it cropped a lot?

Neat shots!
Gabor, I like the last one. Has depth...
Here's one of mine. A repost but still shot with a 40mm summicron-C. This lens is astonishing on the M8. I didn't expect it to be that sharp. It has a character of its own but not as much as other Leitz lenses. But it's compact!

It is not cropped and I used Rodinal to get some grain. While scanning I increased the contrast to make the grain more visible.

I really like my Rokkor-M 40. If I got rid of all my 35mm gear, it might be the last to go, just seems to be a perfect tool.

an amazing lens for the price. probably THE best bang-for-the-buck Leica lens ever made. As good as any 35mm Summicron i've used from that era.

Can it be used on an M8 easily? The perspective would be that of a 53mm lens.

Do you see the correct view with the M8?

my lens brings up the 35mm framelines....which work great for this lens. If i play around with the mount, i can sometimes get it to bring up 50mm as the attachment might be a little loose....but i much prefer the 35mm framelines, which means that i get a little less than what i see in the final product.

I am thinking of using it on my M8 in an upcoming trip.

i am a total newbie and i have been shooting for 1.5-2 years.
i am pretty lucky: i experimented with an m6 with a .58 finder and some great lenses but for some reason i always gravitate back to the cl and the 40mm cron.
it's the one that i feel really comfy with. also, and i am not sure why, the 400trix negatives coming off the cl and the 40 cron are just so good. does anyone have the same experience with this?
anyways here are a few shots.
