Leica LTM Summitar the star...

Leica M39 screw mount bodies/lenses
I thought I should sell it to get yet another 50.
Took it out for a last spin today.... only to realize it is too fine to ever let go :)

Recently picked up a Summitar (my third over the years) for my Leotax Elite. Always one of my favorites-- this one has some haze but seems to shoot OK. Every year, I try to get Cherry Blossom pictures...:)

Thank you!

I've been trying for a long time to get that shot - blue sky, puffy clouds, blossoms at the right point of bloom -- the Summitar has that 3-D punch "Leica Glow" rendering somehow here. You don't always see it - but some shots look like they are from the 1940's/1950's.

The recently posted photos by B. Toews and Bingley show that the Summitar can be sharp and contrasty when it wants to be (presumably clear glass and stopped down).
