So I scored a good shape Super Balda with the F3.5 80mm Baldinar lens. Not sure what to expect, but was hoping someone could shed some light on the potential of this lens? I hear they need to be stopped down to get best performance, but I feel that's normal for a camera of this age. It has the Prontor SV shutter.

The baldinars are 3 element lenses. My experience mirrors what you've heard.
F8 is a good thing.
These are from a 75mm f4.5 Baltar of similar to lesser quality to your lens.
