Why do I do this.... Says my inner voice.

After gaining a slew of MF suggestions with the explicit criteria of not having bellows.

I go and fall for a camera with bellows...

Who has one of these beauties?

IMHO it’s one the best looking cameras I have ever seen! Up there with the Nikon SP.

Share some info, a lot of what I’m finding is in Japanese.

My heart strings are being tugged... it’s now on my short list.

So, B-9, what's it worth for me to NOT go on about how amazing they are, and what high quality they are for such a low price, and that everyone should get one?😀

I've just done a quick search for them on "picclickuk" and they seem to look decent enough. They do look quite heavy though.

I may have ended up with one had I known about them when I was looking for a 6x6 folder if the price was low enough.

I shot one on a trip to St John last year. Quite a nice little 6x6 folder. Lens was plenty sharp, and it travelled well. Did fine in the harsh sun, even with a yellow filter on it. Just printed a bunch of those last month, all FP4+. Would recommend it, tho I have precious little experience with these old folders to compare.

Seems to be a real value compared to Super Ikonta III/IV.

The Fujica is much better looking in my opinion. Not that it matters lol 😉

Wish it had strap lugs! I need to figure something out to fix that.

Just got it today.

Solid and fairly clean other than the broken clip.

I wonder if the 2400 has a magnet on the bottom? The 4324 has a rather heavy one.

The cutter is also not metal like the 2400 instead is made of plastic teeth.

Fuji arrived today! Man that was quick!

Camera is dirtier than most and smells of a army surplus store.

BUT everything seems to be working fine despite some oil on both aperture and shutter blades.

RF alignment appears spot on and all speeds sound good.

Bellows are a little dry and I’m positive they are responsible for the smell lol

Test roll will tell all... now where are those incense I need to bless this thing with a new smell.

First impression is good it is pleasantly solid and has a confident heft. The viewfinder is actually a fair bit nicer than I had imagined with a pretty large square RF patch in the center. No frame lines or parallax correction it is definitely basic. The design is even nicer in person!

Glad I found a good deal on this one. Well worth the coin thus far.

Well, dropped the darn thing today!

Luckily it was on laminate flooring and no apparent damage. RF still looks to be correctly aligned.... phew what a start to my birthday.

The lack of strap lugs is really a big issue.

Was planning to go out and shoot but I’m afraid of dropping it again. It lost my trust lol.
