The Sydney Camera Market is on again in Ultimo on 18th October. I missed the last one and am very keen to have a look around this time. Anyone else interested in meeting up?

I'll see you there! I intend arriving in the queue around 9:40am.
Last one had some empty tables, but I still found a IIIc and Perkeo II.

I can't go to this one because I'll be away for the weekend. This will be the second one in a row that I'll miss (head banging emoticon). Have fun without me then.

Well it wasn't really a war although it did get pretty crowded as the morning progressed. Fortunately we were there when the market opened and were able to buy what we wanted without having to fight our way to the tables. Here's a quick JPEG from the X-E1 of Lynn with our purchases:

He bought a lovely collapsible 50mm Summicron for his lllc and a very nice Bessa ll. I picked up a very clean Pentax 28/2.8 for my son's K1000. Unfortunately I had to leave without the CV 21/4 which had a very reasonable price on it. Maybe next time

Yes the Bessa looks great. Pity I'm in Ottawa at the moment. Must catch up later for Xmas drinks!

Good idea, John. In fact, I think Jonmanjiro will be in town in December, so definitely a meetup is in order. WAGs invited.

Finally I've developed that roll of HP5+ that was in the IIIc that day - this is the first picture taken with the Summicron 5cm collapsible LTM:

Nothing wrong with that Lynn!
I do love living in Tassie but the absence of camera markets is certainly a disadvantage. At least, I think it is.

I wish I could have been there too in Sydney!
I hope that you had fun, and you got some "treasures" at ridiculously low cost.

Lynn,
That face looks rather familiar, is it somebody famous?
That lens was a great find. I'm kicking myself for not looking for some legacy lenses for the X-E1. Maybe next year
