Used it straight, with no dilution... With respect hp5+ or TMAX... hard to tell, I like TMAX developed in tmax developer, I like HP5+ developed in Rodinal, it's a matter of taste... HP5 is more grainy (or at least it seems so to me), I could only give you the advice I've received myself: buy one or two rolls of each and try them.
