Telephoto lens with only two elements

Other than Leica and Novoflex, anyone know other maker use just doublet for telephoto lenses?

Some of the early Canons had very simple construction. You can see diagrams at the Canon lens museum on their website.

The achromate is a design predating photography. It was invented for telescopes. Many manufacturers made achromates. Kilfitt, Zeiss, Astro Berlin, Tewe, in addition to those already mentioned. There are many more.

I had a 400mm f/5.5 (1950's) that had 2 elements...it also had a "rack and pinion" thumb wheel on the side to focus... it was a fairly sharp lens!
